McGehee

So I started school on August 23rd and since then it has been GREAT!! I've been keeping up with all of my old friends, including Lacee, Sofia, Sally Jane, Jordyn, Taylor, Angelica, Sydney, Joan Rose, Sammy, Jeannie, Mariel, and ALOT more!!
Ive only been here a week so I dont know everything but its still awesome. Today in French class I found out that there is a seventh and eighth grade dance so that should be fun. Im pretty sure that we can bring friends and people and friends and people and more friends and ppl and u get the idea. Well I gotta do homework

School!

As you may know, I'm not returning to St.Andrew next year. Im going to Louise S McGehee School on the east bank. This afternoon I went to the orientation for the new students with one of my besties Taylor. So one of my favorite parts of the school is the uniform so I just thought that I could share my fave parts about it with you!!! ok so about the uniform SCHEDULE--- on mondays it is assembly day so we have to wear the white oxford shirt with the blue mcgehee vest and the sperrys (sperrys must be worn!! its ok though i love em!). On tuesday - thursday it is regular school days so we can wear the white mcgehee monogrammed polo with the skirt or skort or khakis and either sperrys, doc martins, or mostly white tennis shoes (no vest!). On fridays it is spririt day and we just wear the tues-thursday uniform with a mcgehee t shirt!!! so that is one of my fave parts!!!



Another one of my favorites about the school is that we get to use computers!!! About a week ago we ordered my dell laptop and I ordered the latitude 13 I THINK. W dont have to write notes we can type themm!!! yaaay no more cramped hands!!!!!!!!!!!


Ok so I know that im kinda sorta startin 2 annoy u so bye bye gotta go watch GLLEE!!!!!!!!!!!

At my school dance every1 was dancing and then Thriller came on and this dude named Chibozo starts doing like the full dance and evry1 was tryin 2 follow him!! I ran and grabbed my camera and theis is what i got!!! ENJOY!!! thanx chibozu ur awesome!!!

Campaign Manager

So I haven't posted in a while considering how often I post, buuut... I am now!!! So I go to St. Andrew the Apostle School and soon we are having an election for student counsil. I told yall about Bert previously and told u his blog(which if you forgot is bertsblog16.blogspot.com!!!). So Bert wants to run for Vice President and so since he's like popular throughout the whole middle school he was able to get so many ppl to follow him that he now has a whole committee!!! He was still trying to pick an official campaign manager like the one who goes up and speaks with him at the speaches because he already had a bunch of co- managers. So like yesterday in the period he said that he picked me to be his OFFICIAL campaign manager. So if anyone who reads this goes to SAS...

My Room

So yesterday I decided that my room was getting a little bit young for me, sooo im redesigning it by myself! I had this vanity that I decided to take out and moved all of my makeup into my bathroom. I changed my comforter to plain puffy white (first i had it as the quilt thing then last christmas i got a new one and love it and it fuzzy lime green but its to hot for this louisiana spring/ summer weather) so now its justa plain comforter!!! I put my clothes hamper into my closet to give me more space and I hung a good amount of pictures on my walls and put some in frames and scattered them around the room. My walls are purple so everything kinda has to revolve around colors that match purple. Its light purple because it got painted whenever I was young and my dad didnt like the lime green! bleh. I'll post some pictures of the room whenever it is completely finished!!

Also, I got to thinking that "in attessa di una cura" was kinda weird to pput on a blog so from now on im just gonna say this!---

This morning Chase woke me up at like 7:45 to look at what the easter bunny brought us. So we went into the kitchen and we looked at our baskets and this is what we had:

My Motto

So I was on Google Translate a while ago and since I have diabetes, searched to see how to say "waiting on a cure" in Italian. I searched it and it I think that it just sounds soo pretty! Soooo... I made it my new motto. This is it (comment if you like it!!!): IN ATTESSA DI UNA CURA.

So now instead of saying "luv, jules," im gonna start saying that. But sometimes I might use luv!

Pictures!!!

Here are some pics of me!!! These are from when I was about 10 yrs old and I still had glasses, now I have contacts and my hair is longer! I was at the beach evacuating/vacationing from hurricane Gustav after a tornado hit at the hunting camp in Mississippi and my uncles and my daddy had to get machetes and cut down all kinds of woods and then we had to take shelter in a ravine!! Well, that was a good vacation cuz we were DEFFINITALLY safe under a tornado!!! Btw, we were ok!

Camp

Okay so I have this hunting camp in Rose hill, Mississippi with all the rest of my dad's side of the fam. We are up here for Eraster break but we are leaving on Easter Day to go see my other granma (Nana) who lives in Abita Springs, Louisiana. Yes that is the place where they make Abita beer and Abita rootbeer. The rootbeer is sooo good!! I haven't tried the beer yet, though! LOL! Well, anyways, my cousin Lil' Randy comes also so today me and Randy and Chases were playing hide n seek in the dark and its sooo awesome cuz... well its just awesome. We don't get any internet connection up here but my mom got an aircard frm her work that she gets to keep for the weekend! Weeeellll, sooner or later I'll get consent (i think that's the word?)from some of my friends and put some pics of them if they let me. I'll put a pic of me if a can find one on my computer, if not i'll take one!!!

So today was our last full day of school before our Easter break because tommorrow we get let out at 11:00am. Me and Chase might not be going, though because Chase has an orthodontist appointment in the morning!!! Not really much to say but I'll try to post later today!

Report Cards

Today we got our report cards. I didn't get mine because i owe library money. My teacher, Mrs. Shipley, likes handing out our alpha/beta cards in class instead of putting them in our report card envelopes so that everyone can know if you had alpha or beta. (alpha means that you got all A's on your report card and beta means that you either got A's and B's or just B's!) So whenever Mrs. Shipley was handing out the beta cards she called my name and i was soooo surprised because I thought that I had like a D or a C in a class but apparently not!!!! We also got our class pics and spring pics today! I looked HORRIBLE in the spring pics but from my opinion and some of my friends I looked awesome in class. I usually don't look good AT ALL in my school pics but I guess that class is an improvement! Now all that I have to work on is spring!!! Well when I get my report card I'll try to post my grades!!!

JUST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!!!

Well since I'm new at this im gonna tell you a little bit about my life. As you know my name is Julia. I go to a school in Algiers, Louisiana and am in the 6th grade. Next year i am moving to a new school in Downtown New Orleans. I have a lot of friends, but here are my besties: Taylor, Natalie, Carlin, Ally, Sydney, Bert, Blaine, Alex, Cole, Macie, Julia (not me, a different one!), Sophia, Logan, Abbey, & Celine! I love love love Justin Bieber and hate hate hate Honor Society! My personal opinion is that Honor Society is just another one of the wanna be bands who try to be like a mix between Green Day and the Jonas Brothers and that they are just going to be forgotten within the next couple of months. But that is just my personal opinion. (isn't that what blogs are for!!!?????) Well I gtg do hw, I think I'll post later this afternoon! Luv, Jules!

It was hard taking shots but now i have an OmniPod which is an insulin pump asnd now i am living fine!
